Midwest Consulting Group is a boutique developer of credit and related training. We don’t attempt to compete with the big vendors in content areas such as financial analysis, cash flow, loan documentation, or other well-established subjects. Instead, we develop programs of significant value that are not readily available. This page provides summaries of a few of our courses, all of which can be customized to meet your specific needs. Courses that Meet Your Needs
Each of our ready-to-customize programs was developed from the ground up in partnership with a client institution or company. Each program responds directly to identified training needs, with great care taken to perform a needs assessment that included interviews with company training specialists, senior credit officers, line managers, and representatives of the target training audience.
Our ready-to-customize courses are just that: courses meant to be tailored to your needs, although tailoring can range from some quick “tweaking” to more extensive revisions that reflect the uniqueness of your organization or your training audience. These are not intended to be “off the shelf,” one-size-fits-all programs. Our courses are designed to teach your lenders how your institution underwrites risk. They are most effective when they fully convey your company’s own underwriting approach and guidelines.

In addition, Midwest Consulting Group has developed a variety of highly specialized programs that are tailored to clients’ individual needs. These projects have included, for example, a consumer loan structure course for a financial institution’s investment brokers, and combination process/sales training for branch personnel charged with engaging walk-in prospects and clients in a lengthy financial needs profiling process.
